We have been meaning to try this place for years. So glad we did. We got an order to go. It was really good. We ordered Pot Stickers, Chinese Chicken Salad and Vegetable Fried Rice. The Chinese Chicken salad was probably our favorite. It is a pretty simple salad that just works. The peanut dressing is special. All items were fresh and serving sizes were significant. We have leftovers for tomorrow. Their items are a tremendous value. They seem to get a lot of takeout orders and are very efficient. We can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

Good Chinese. Very reasonable prices, takeout ready in a fair wait time. There are a couple other good Chinese in Watsonville with much higher prices. I've tried them all. I have no reason not to stay with Hong Kong 2.

Since I'm sitting here eating late-night leftovers from yet another take-out order we picked up tonight, I thought I'd take a moment to review Hong Kong Gardens II, my go-to Watsonville Chinese restaurant. We have had their combination fried rice, wanton soup, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young, and much more. It's all satisfying and tasty, especially considering the chefs have to cater to their local audience. LOCATION - I've only actually eaten inside the restaurant once but we've had takeout many times from Hong Kong Gardens II. It's a hidden lil gem, awkwardly tucked in the shopping center corner between Staff of Life grocer and Ace Hardware on East Lake in Watsonville. The restaurant is very big and spacious since it's in a corner spot. They could easily accommodate a large group but if you're planning to come with more than a few, it may be polite to call ahead and give them a heads-up. Side note: Hong Kong Garden's food is so much better than Panda Express's. I can't understand why people line up in droves out the door for Panda Express when this long-standing local Watsonville Chinese restaurant is here. Glad we discovered it right after we moved here last summer! The only thing I wish is that they'd take call-in orders before they open so us teachers could pick it up right when they open and then have it for lunch! :-D Might see ya there!

Hadn't been her in a while but they're still serving great food for a very reasonable price.

They didn't have delivery when I called, but it was totally worth the drive. Delicious food, kind person answering the phone and running the register. I asked about how quiet it was, and he said everyone gets take-out since covid. We tried a bunch of different items, and they were all good. The pineapple chicken fried rice was made with fresh pineapple - we could tell because the pineapple was a little tough and not very sweet - I guess it is out of season. That's our only complaint. Also got Combo fried rice, beef chow fun, mixed veggies, BBQ pork with broccoli, Ma Po tofu, honey prawns, cream cheese crab wontons, and the Wor Wonton soup. Definitely will return.

Love their Sizzling rice soup tomato base with chicken not shrimp and hot and spicy dumplings omg so darn good. It's 11:00 and can't wait for them to open to go get some soup and dumplings. It's a hidden place but so so amazing . Can I say YUMMY!!!!

Came here for take out and really enjoyed our food. Everything was well made, well seasoned, not overwhelming, nothing soggy, very crispy sweet and sour pork, great taste, great chow mein with chunks of pork which was bomb! We did request fried rice with pork and my chow mein I also requested it with pork. Did not disappoint.
